TECHNICAL DETAILS

ARMA FLUE Premium Class 1 Stainless Steel 316 Flexible Chimney Liner, to be used when re-lining a masonry chimney only

Arma Flue is suitable for all fuels such as coal, turf, smokeless coal, briquettes, dry logs

Arma Flue is the only stainless steel flexible chimney liner on the Iirish market that can be fitted in either direction. This is due to the patented manufacturing process, this not only allows for multi directional use but also makes it extremely difficult for corrosion to set in unlike other traditional flexible flues.

Arma Flue is made from 2 separate sheets of stainless steel 316 + 316

The Outer: The outer skin of Arma Flue is a pre profiled ribbon of stainless steel, with deep, close together waves that create an extremely hard and protective exterior for the flue, like a shell. When your chimney liner is dragged down a brick flue it will undoubtedly be pulled and hit against the brick work, because the outer/shell is a separate sheet (and not 1 or 2 pieces folded together) it protects the smooth inner from damage. It also makes it less likely that the flue in general will be damaged or compromised before installation compared to other flues that are soft and can be damaged as easily as being knocked in the back of a van.

The Inner: The Inner skin of Arma Flue is a pre profiled ribbon of stainless steel, which has been made with a fine special oil spray to create a smooth inner surface. Unlike other flues our inner surface of steel has not been folded or scratched in production and has not been compromised in any way. It is locked to the outer skin purely with pressure using a patented technique. This means that Arma Flue essentially has a fresh un compromised inner surface for the flue gasses to pass through making it almost impossible for corrosion to set in.

There are no internal flaps, folds or lips on the inside of Arma Flue it is the only chimney liner on the Irish market to have this unique feature. Traditional flue liners with multi directional arrows and flaps/folds inside damage easily, can come apart on installation and could splay or come apart internally once fitted, which you will not normally see unless your installer or chimney sweep does a camera inspection for you.

Shipping & Returns

All items on our website have UK mainland and Ireland shipping built into the cost. We work in partnership with Woodside Global a locally based haulage company. We ship to all parts of the UK and Ireland. Unfortunately there are some Rural and island areas that we can not ship to or we may have to add an additional charge. Should this be the case a member of our team will call you to explain. We do offer a return to base refund and this means that you must return the item in its original unopened condition back to us. A fee of £149 will also be charged to cover the costs of our shipping, administration and restocking.

Important Delivery Information

Any stove ordered from Stoveworld NI will arrive on a pallet and, depending on the order, can weigh more than 200kg. Deliveries of this nature are very different to standard courier deliveries.

On this page we will try and outline as much information about the delivery procedure as we can but if you need any more information, please call our office on 07729862524

When will my stove arrive?

We use a third party courier for all of our deliveries as we deliver nationally. When you place an order from Stoveworld NI, we book in the delivery with our courier and then e-mail you the date on which the delivery has been booked to take place. This is usually within 5-7 working days. If you have a specific delivery day in mind (within the 5-7 day estimate) that is best for you, please add this to the ‘notes’ section and we will aim to get it out for delivery on this day.

Where will the driver leave my stove?

The delivery is a door step/kerbside delivery and the driver is not required to take the goods into the property for insurance reasons. Drivers however do their best to assist you as best as possible and most will help you move the stove. Steps, gravel driveways and narrow gates can prevent the driver leaving the goods in the desired place and in some cases, prevent a delivery altogether.

What happens in case of a delay?

Should there be any delays with a delivery, we aim to let any affected customers know ASAP after we are notified by the couriers. In the rare occurrence of a delay, we are not responsible for any loss of earnings if someone has stayed at home to wait for an item to arrive. We never recommend booking a fitter for the day of delivery; we are not responsible for the installer’s time/fee if the stove does not arrive on the advised date. We would usually advise ordering your stove in advance of your installation date by at least 4-5 working days to avoid any issues should a delay occur. Should your delivery be delayed, we are not obliged to refund the delivery charge.

Do I need to be at home?

All deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, with the usual delivery times being between 8am and 6pm. We do not receive estimated times of deliveries from the couriers, so someone would need to be available all day on the day of delivery. We ask you to leave us a contact number that we can pass on to the couriers as the drivers will usually call 30-45 minutes prior to delivery. If someone cannot be available on the day of the delivery and if we have your authorisation, a delivery can be left at your property in a ‘safe place’ stated by you. These instructions are usually followed without any problem. However, please be aware that taking delivery of a pallet while you are not at home is done at your own risk. We cannot be held liable if the depot does not put the pallet exactly where you want it.

Access Issues?

Most larger goods like stoves, pizza ovens and liner kits will arrive on large 18 ton curtain side lorries. If you live down a tight lane, please let us know in advance and we will book the order on a small vehicle “restricted access service “. Sometimes, smaller vehicles will not have a tail lift because they are not large enough to withstand the weight of the lifting equipment. In some cases, the driver may need assistance lifting the item off the vehicle to the ground. If we are not notified of restricted access in advance of the goods being shipped, this could delay the delivery.

It is the driver’s discretion as to whether he thinks the vehicle can get down the road and safely turn around. It is often stated that a dustbin lorry can get down the road but this is not a fair comparison as they will often have rear wheel steering. If the driver cannot get down the road he may ask you to meet him at another location to unload the lorry or take the goods back to the hub to be loaded on a smaller vehicle and delivered another day.

Does my address affect the cost of delivery?

We pride ourselves on making life easy for customers therefore we have teamed up with woodside haulage in Northern Ireland who offer us a single 1 off cost to all destinations throughout mainland UK and Ireland. This cost is built into our products so you can be rest assured no matter what part of the UK mainland or Ireland you may live we will have no hidden charges or fees coming your way.
