Eco Design Approved
The Defra Approved Ecosy+ Hampton 6.4 is one of the most up to date and cleanest double sided stoves sold in the UK. It is one of a very small number of double sided stoves that have been tested and approved to meet the new Ecodesign requirements, making this a stove for now and for the future. Passing this test and being one of only a few models on the market to do so shows the Hampton has been engineered and designed to a high standard by Ecosy+. All test results have been carried out by Kiwa Gastec in Cheltenham, UK - a leader in their field.
The Technology
The Hampton 6.4kw boasts some of the lowest combined readings of Hydrocarbons, CO and dust output of any wood burning double sided stove sold in the UK. In response to the government's initiatives to lower such emissions from wood burning stoves, you can rest assured that you have one of the cleanest stoves for sale in the UK. This unrivalled clean burn has been achieved by the quality engineering exhibited in all Hampton models. All bodies are made from thick laser cut steel plate that is perfectly folded and welded together, ensuring no air can leak into the stove.
The hidden gem of this stove is its internal shell - effectively another stove inside the stove, where air is drawn in from the stove's base fed between two layers of steel either side of and precisely dispersed over the fire through a series of holes in the stoves twin layered baffle. Having the air introduced high up in chamber is an effective way of re-burning the initial smoke and pollutants created by the fire. The air that is not dispersed through these holes speeds up as it continues to rise through the twin layers until it is finally released like a curtain of air over the glass. This heating effect speeds the air up and is the most effective way of keeping the glass clean. This design is practical and truly wonderful to watch. The Hampton 6.4 is a wood burning only stove therefore does not require a multi-fuel grate or ash pan as wood loves to burn on the base. The stove is however lined with thick 30mm vermiculite boards that protect the stoves shell and its internal steel baffle is removable for sweeping. Under the stove is the simple push pull lever that gives an incredibly accurate degree of control over the fire as the vent plate is mechanically attached to the body. The Hampton has a 30mm thick virgin ore cast iron door that helps retain and slowly release the heat into the room in conjunction with the stoves thick steel body. Going into the door is the stoves unique handmade twist handle with wooden lever. As with all parts of the Hampton they are well designed and engineered but not over-complicated. Too often stoves have over-complicated system that do not stand the test of time and can be incredibly expensive and complicated to fix. We confidently offer a 7 year warranty on this product.
This listing is the wood burning only version, a multi fuel version of the Hampton 6.4 Double Sided is also available.
Crystal Clear Glass
As mentioned in the technology section the air is drawn into the fire low down at the stoves rear. The air races up and over the stoves chamber increasing in speed as it travels until it is unveiled and drops like a curtain over the stoves glass. This can be seen in action on the video attached at the start of this listing. This system is proven to be a very effective way of keeping the glass clean and clear of smoke stains providing the wood burnt is well seasoned.
7 Year Guarantee
This covers the stove's body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks. Guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. 6 digit number on the top of each invoice is the warranty number. For stove to be covered it must be installed by a HETAS engineer or signed off by building control.

Important Delivery Information
Any stove ordered from Stoveworld NI will arrive on a pallet and, depending on the order, can weigh more than 200kg. Deliveries of this nature are very different to standard courier deliveries.
On this page we will try and outline as much information about the delivery procedure as we can but if you need any more information, please call our office on 07729862524
When will my stove arrive?
We use a third party courier for all of our deliveries as we deliver nationally. When you place an order from Stoveworld NI, we book in the delivery with our courier and then e-mail you the date on which the delivery has been booked to take place. This is usually within 5-7 working days. If you have a specific delivery day in mind (within the 5-7 day estimate) that is best for you, please add this to the ‘notes’ section and we will aim to get it out for delivery on this day.
Where will the driver leave my stove?
The delivery is a door step/kerbside delivery and the driver is not required to take the goods into the property for insurance reasons. Drivers however do their best to assist you as best as possible and most will help you move the stove. Steps, gravel driveways and narrow gates can prevent the driver leaving the goods in the desired place and in some cases, prevent a delivery altogether.
What happens in case of a delay?
Should there be any delays with a delivery, we aim to let any affected customers know ASAP after we are notified by the couriers. In the rare occurrence of a delay, we are not responsible for any loss of earnings if someone has stayed at home to wait for an item to arrive. We never recommend booking a fitter for the day of delivery; we are not responsible for the installer’s time/fee if the stove does not arrive on the advised date. We would usually advise ordering your stove in advance of your installation date by at least 4-5 working days to avoid any issues should a delay occur. Should your delivery be delayed, we are not obliged to refund the delivery charge.
Do I need to be at home?
All deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, with the usual delivery times being between 8am and 6pm. We do not receive estimated times of deliveries from the couriers, so someone would need to be available all day on the day of delivery. We ask you to leave us a contact number that we can pass on to the couriers as the drivers will usually call 30-45 minutes prior to delivery. If someone cannot be available on the day of the delivery and if we have your authorisation, a delivery can be left at your property in a ‘safe place’ stated by you. These instructions are usually followed without any problem. However, please be aware that taking delivery of a pallet while you are not at home is done at your own risk. We cannot be held liable if the depot does not put the pallet exactly where you want it.
Access Issues?
Most larger goods like stoves, pizza ovens and liner kits will arrive on large 18 ton curtain side lorries. If you live down a tight lane, please let us know in advance and we will book the order on a small vehicle “restricted access service “. Sometimes, smaller vehicles will not have a tail lift because they are not large enough to withstand the weight of the lifting equipment. In some cases, the driver may need assistance lifting the item off the vehicle to the ground. If we are not notified of restricted access in advance of the goods being shipped, this could delay the delivery.
It is the driver’s discretion as to whether he thinks the vehicle can get down the road and safely turn around. It is often stated that a dustbin lorry can get down the road but this is not a fair comparison as they will often have rear wheel steering. If the driver cannot get down the road he may ask you to meet him at another location to unload the lorry or take the goods back to the hub to be loaded on a smaller vehicle and delivered another day.
Does my address affect the cost of delivery?
We pride ourselves on making life easy for customers therefore we have teamed up with woodside haulage in Northern Ireland who offer us a single 1 off cost to all destinations throughout mainland UK and Ireland. This cost is built into our products so you can be rest assured no matter what part of the UK mainland or Ireland you may live we will have no hidden charges or fees coming your way. Unfortunately there are some Rural and island areas that we can not ship to or we may have to add an additional charge. Should this be the case a member of our team will call you to explain. We do offer a return to base refund and this means that you must return the item in its original unopened condition back to us. A fee of £149 will also be charged to cover the costs of our shipping, administration and restocking.
